The CAPT BC is a 60’ custom sportfisher built by legendary boatbuilder Buddy Cannady, designed for proven offshore performance and true Carolina style. Powered by a 1000 HP Cat engine and cruising at 29 knots, she’s spent years running the Gulf Stream off Oregon Inlet and Virginia Beach, putting anglers on fish.
A clean, climate-controlled salon offers comfort between bites, while a spacious cockpit and mezzanine give serious anglers room to work. Outfitted with tournament-grade tackle and advanced electronics, including Omni 360 sonar, she’s built for the hunt.
Now captained by Buddy Callaway, every trip is run with experience and purpose—whether you’re filling the box or chasing a trophy bite.
The Crew
Captain Buddy
Buddy Callaway is no stranger to the ocean. He grew up sportfishing alongside his grandfather, legendary boatbuilder Buddy Cannady, and commercial fishing with his father, “Bilbo.” With a lifetime spent on the water—from deck to helm—Buddy brings real offshore experience to every trip.
He holds a 100-ton U.S. Coast Guard Master License and is CPR certified, leading each charter with safety, skill, and a deep respect for the ocean.
Mate Wes
Wes brings years of hands-on experience on and around the water. Comfortable in all conditions offshore, he’s spent much of his life fishing, learning, and working on the deck. Wes plays a key role in every trip—keeping things running smooth, lines tight, and anglers in the action.
